Once you register your interest, you will receive an email from your local office with all the details about lessons, prices, what to bring and lots more.

At this point you are automatically added to our waiting list for classes in your area.  When we start the booking for the upcoming term you will hear from us by text, email or phone call.   Do get back to us promptly once you hear from us as places fill up very fast especially any weekend availability.

We teach Monday to Sunday but we generally have more availability mid-week for beginners. So if you can be flexible, you may receive more swimming options.

Currently we usually have four ten-week terms per year – November, February, May and September.

What age can my baby start swimming?

Your baby can start from birth (depending on the venue based on pool temperature) buts it’s really when you are ready. Based on health guidelines your baby does not need to wait before they get their vaccinations before starting their Water Babies journey.

We suggest that you don’t wait too long to register your baby so there is a better chance of getting the space you want and of course, its great for your baby to start young so they can enjoy all the benefits that baby swimming can give them.

What you’ll need to bring to lessons

Every little one attending Water Babies classes, regardless of age must follow the double nappy system which means they must wear a Splash About Happy Nappy or Splash Jammers plus a disposable paper swim nappy. Alternatively, they can wear the all-in-1 Happy Nappy DUO which removes the need for the disposable paper swim nappy – one less thing to worry about and so much more environmentally friendly.

Your local office will let you know if your little one will need a wetsuit when you are booking on, this depends on the age of your baby and the temperature of the pool.

You can order your Water Babies swimwear and accessories through the Water Babies Webshop or you can purchase when booking on and we will help you with sizing for your little one.
