Splashathon 2025
Together, we can give every sick child in Ireland every chance.
Between April 7th and 13th, your little one will take on their sponsored Splashathon swimming challenge during their usual class time. We're asking all our Water Babies to seek sponsorship to help us raise vital funds for Children’s Health Foundation.
If possible, we ask that little ones (and parents too!) dress in a fancy dress costume for this lesson. Our theme this year is Superheroes, so you can interpret this however you like! It could be anything from SpiderBaby to SuperGirl and SuperBoy. It’s totally up to you!
If every one of our Water Babies across the country raised just €15 that would be a whopping €80,000 raised for such an amazing cause.
Why fundraise for Children’s Health Foundation?
Children’s Health Foundation work to give every sick child in Ireland every chance. Their work will not stop until every sick child in Ireland has everything they need to fight illness and injury, until every doctor and nurse have everything they need to treat to sick children, and until every researcher has everything they need to find new cures.
When a child gets seriously ill, family life turns upside down. Important life milestones are missed and sometimes lives are changed forever. Childhood illness affects families from every corner of Ireland. Children's Health Foundation can’t stop a child from ending up in hospital, but when they do, we want them to have every chance for the best possible outcome.
Water Babies are proud to support Children’s Health Foundation and join all the parents, families and medical staff who are fighting every day to protect and save children from Childhood Illness.
If every Water Babies swimmer across Ireland raises just €15, that would mean €80,000 raised for the heroes in Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly.
We will have fabulous prizes for the top fundraisers!
Everyone who fundraises will receive a splashathon superhero certificate and we have fabulous prizes for the top fundraisers including five Water Babies courses! The top fundraiser in each area will win a free Water Babies course, AND every participant who raises over €20 will be entered into a prize draw to win a free Water Babies course. We also have goodie bags and lots more prizes to win.

We're trying hard to encourage online fundraising. Help us to be leaner and greener by going digital. If this an impossible option, then just email abutler@childrenshealth.ie to request a sponsorship card. Children’s Health Foundation will post a card to you.
